abc Pianos, have Melbourne’s largest range of quality upright pianos, digital pianos & grand pianos available to rent from as little as $77 per month for digital pianos & from $85 per month for acoustic pianos with the option to purchase your rental piano ex rental pianos or brand new piano later, or you can just continue renting from us for as long as you like.

All of our pianos are serviced, maintained and tuned prior to delivery and come with an ongoing service guarantee.

Delivery prices start from $135 each way based on a standard ground floor delivery during normal business hours in the Melbourne metro area.

Next day delivery is often available.

This is how our Home & Long Term Rental program works…

1. First you start renting an piano of your choice from us for a minimum period of 3 months.
2. Two weeks before the 3 months are up; we will send you a reminder.
3. You then have the choice to either extend the rental agreement for another 3 month’s or you can continue renting month by month or give us 7 days notice advising us that you wish to terminate the agreement.
4. If you decide to continue renting the piano, you can do so for as long as you like.
5. If at any stage during the rental period you decide you want to purchase either the piano you are renting or any other rental piano or a brand new piano you can.
6. What we will do is give you a discount off the RRP of either the piano you are renting or any other rental piano or a brand new piano (sale prices not included).
7. Then you can either pay the balance or pay it off over 6 month’s or if you decide to purchase a brand new Alex Steinbach piano you can purchase it over 3 years interest free.

Silent piano rental 

The Silent/Dream piano is ideal for those who live in apartments,

flats and units who ideally require an acoustic piano but may

wish to play quietly at various times of the day or night.

The Dream Piano allows you to use your piano in the traditional manner and also play in silence through headphones.

Imagine playing the piano at any time of the day or night without disturbing anyone and also having a traditional acoustic piano in your home.

The inclusion of two stereo headphone jacks allow parents or teachers to sit alongside and listen to children practice, or two children can play the piano together without disturbing others.

The Alex Steinbach & Samick Dream Pianos easily switch between acoustic piano and muted piano by pressing down the centre pedal.

The volume is adjustable to ten different levels. Silent pianos available from $110.00 per month.

Our rental pianos are regularly detailed, maintained and tuned to A440 concert pitch and are kept by us in first class and as new condition.

You are invited to visit our showroom to select a piano. Alternatively we are more than happy to arrange piano rental and transport by phone, email or fax.

All of our pianos come with a piano stool and prices include GST.
