We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves to you and we hope that the following information will be of service to you or someone you know.

a.b.c. Pianos are a family owned and operated business with over 35 years in the Piano Industry.

We specialise in:

Sales of new and second hand pianos.

Rental of Grand and Upright pianos short or long term.

Transport and Storage of pianos.

 

We have Melbourne 's largest range of upright and grand pianos available for Short and Long term rental.

We supply to the Melbourne Metropolitan, Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula areas.

For many years a.b.c. Pianos have sold and rented Pianos to people and businesses who require them, for example: Students, Teachers, Schools and Professional Pianists.

From the Hospitality Industry to the Entertainment, Recording and Film Industry including Interstate and Overseas Artists and Visitors.

Pianos can be delivered by us within a day's notice, although earlier notice is preferred.

Our charges are kept as low as possible, so that those who need a Piano can afford one.

 

  

a.b.c. Pianos are a family owned and operated business run by Eddie & Mandy Tichelaar. They have been supplying quality upright and grand pianos to customers that include Students, Teachers, Music Schools and Professional Pianists this also includes clients such as the Hospitality Industry to the Entertainment, Recording and Film Industry including Interstate and Overseas Artists since 1973.

Eddie’s career in the piano industry began at the very early age of seven, as he assisted his father John, regularly within the piano business. In 1982 he officially became a partner of a.b.c. Pianos. Eddie has a vast knowledge of pianos and has learnt the technical side of pianos from many qualified tuner/technicians within the industry, as well as courses at the Preston TAFE piano technology department.

Mandy studied music from a very early age and is a gifted woodwind player with piano as her second instrument. She began her teaching career at the Dandenong Ranges Music Council at the age of 15, running a teenage woodwind group. Mandy also played in various groups and gave solo performances. Her business career began in an accounts department of a large international company where she learnt the finer points of business management before joining a.b.c. Pianos in 1993.

Eddie & Mandy carefully select and prepare all the pianos they have on display and invite you to visit their showroom. You will receive professional friendly advice and they will be more than happy to help you find a piano that suits your needs and/or dreams. Their knowledge of pianos certainly makes visiting a.b.c. Pianos an enjoyable and educational experience.
